Gemvara uses only the highest quality materials to craft your solitaire green amethyst jewelry with meticulous attention to detail. Our precious metals are recycled or responsibly mined. Our wide selection of solitaire green amethyst jewelry by Carl Ansley, Damon Washington, Jessica Behzad, and other talented designers means you can find jewelry that's just your style. Gemvara's stunning solitaire styles add timeless glamour to everything you wear. Green amethyst shimmers with the beauty of a lagoon. Clean your solitaire green amethyst jewelry with mild dish soap: use a soft brush where dust collects. Gemvara's fine quality solitaire green amethyst jewelry is designed to be passed down for generations to come, crafted by hand in the United States.
David West's striking jewelry designs have often been described as architectural, perhaps because at a young age his architect grandfather taught him to appreciate form, space, line, and proportion, as well as a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. A passionate designer, master goldsmith, gemologist, and entrepreneur, David has been involved in nearly every aspect of design during his long career. After training at Rhode Island School of Design and Rochester Institute of Technology's School for the American Crafts, he launched his career as a jewelry designer. In 1985, David won the prestigious De Beers Diamonds Today Award. One of the first designers to use computer-aided design, David continues to innovate today. As you might expect from such a distinguished career, David's designs are very refined and elegant, with pure clean lines. He strives to create beautiful classic jewelry items that stand the test of time.
Green Amethyst Quality
Amethyst is known as the gemstone of peace. However, a green amethyst is for those who find peace down a different path; who are not afraid to think outside the box. Quality and color are important to consider when shopping for your green amethyst. This quartz-relative of amethyst, also known as prasiolite, has a flattering celadon color that goes well with everything in your wardrobe, from pastels to neutrals and even brights. Prasiolite comes from the Greek for "leek stone," but today's green amethyst has a softer color that looks more sage than leek. The more vivid the lovely, sea-foam green shade, the more valuable the green amethyst becomes. Clarity also matters, since its light color makes imperfections more visible. A well-cut green amethyst will glimmer in the light, so cut is also important. Amethyst is the February birthstone and the 6th and 17th anniversary gem, but green amethyst is an alternative for February babies who prefer green to purple. All Gemvara jewelry is made to order, which ensures that a premium-quality green amethyst will be hand-selected to perfectly suit your design. Crafted in the United States, Gemvara's fine green amethyst jewelry is precious and personal, surely to be passed down for generations to come.
