Rings have long symbolized the circle of life. At Gemvara, we believe that the rings you wear should be one of a kind, like you. That's why our rings are made to order in your choice of conflict-free gems and recycled precious metals. Choose iolite and yellow gold or citrine and white gold: it's your choice. Mix and match gems and precious metals for a look that's exactly you. It's jewelry for all life's occasions, from a birthday or Valentine's Day to your own personal milestones and celebrations. Our unrivalled selection of designs by Bijoux & Bijoux, Ruzanna Davtian, Randy Dixon, and other talented jewelry designers means you can find a ring that's just your style. Stylish and versatile, Gemvara's stackable ring styles can be mixed and matched with all the other rings in your jewelry box to express your unique style. Because all Gemvara ruby stackable rings are made to order, we can hand-select the finest quality materials to perfectly suit your design. Ruby is said to ignite desire. It's bold red hue is the essence of passion. Be careful when removing rings to wash your hands. Don't leave your ring on the rim of a sink where it can slip down the drain! Clean ruby stackable rings with mild dish soap: use a soft brush where dust collects. Gemvara's fine quality ruby stackable rings are designed to be passed down for generations to come, crafted by hand in the United States.
Jeet Palavwala designs sophisticated dimensional jewelry that is like sculpture in precious metal and gems. His stunning lotus ring was the winner of our first international design competition. Although Jeet is from Surat, India, the city where most of the world's diamonds are cut and polished, he began his career designing machine tools. Before long he began using technology to design jewelry instead, naming his jewelry design studio Neviell. By combining his love of art with his a strong technical background, Jeet discovered that creating jewelry was his passion, or as he describes it, his "destiny." Always challenging his mind to think in new ways, he enjoys bringing new jewelry design ideas to life each day.
Known as the gem of courage and passion, a ruby is not for the timid. Its bold hue entices the eye and hastens the pulse. When buying a ruby, the most important element to consider is color. Pure, vivid fire-engine-red rubies are the most valuable. Cut and clarity also factor into value. The larger the carat weight, the more the ruby will cost per carat. Gemvara only sells premium, hand-selected rubies from Burma, where they are natural and have an exceptional quality. Gemvara supports the Burma import ban and offers only rubies from inventories in the United States. A fine-colored ruby is so desirable that producers take extra care to make sure that the ruby has the best hue possible. Before their final polish, most rubies are heat-enhanced to almost 2,000 degrees in order to improve the color and clarity. This stable treatment does not require special care and does not reduce the gem's value. Ruby is the July birthstone, the 15th and 40th anniversary gem, and the zodiac gem for the sign of Cancer. All Gemvara jewelry is made to order, which ensures that a premium-quality ruby will be hand-selected to perfectly suit your design. Crafted in the United States, Gemvara's fine ruby jewelry is precious and personal, surely to be passed down for generations to come.
