About Emerald-Cut Vintage-Inspired Gemstone Rings by Randy Dixon
Rings have long symbolized the circle of life. At Gemvara, we believe that the rings you wear should be one of a kind, like you. That's why our rings are made to order in your choice of conflict-free gems and recycled precious metals. Choose ruby and rose gold or tanzanite and yellow gold: it's your choice. Mix and match gems and precious metals for a look that's exactly you. It's jewelry for all life's occasions, from an engagement or birthday to your own personal milestones and celebrations. Our unrivalled selection of designs by Carl Ansley, Martha Gomez Gutierrez, Ruzanna Davtian, and other talented jewelry designers means you can find a ring that's just your style. Love vintage jewelry but can't find the perfect antique piece? Gemvara's vintage-inspired designs are made to fit you, with the style and craftsmanship you love. Because all Gemvara emerald-cut vintage-inspired gemstone rings are made to order, we can hand-select the finest quality materials to perfectly suit your design. Emerald cuts are an octagon step cut with long facets that give this beautiful cut large bright flashes of brilliance. Be careful when removing rings to wash your hands. Don't leave your ring on the rim of a sink where it can slip down the drain! Clean emerald-cut vintage-inspired gemstone rings with mild dish soap: use a soft brush where dust collects. Gemvara's fine quality emerald-cut vintage-inspired gemstone rings are designed to be passed down for generations to come, crafted by hand in the United States.
Randy Dixon is an artist who creates metal sculpture that also happens to be wearable jewelry designs. An award-winning designer with more than thirty-five years of jewelry bench experience, one of his greatest talents is thinking out of the box and translating abstract ideas into breathtaking design features. A gemologist, Randy truly loves the materials he works with; whether it's a brilliant gemstone or a lustrous metal, he is genuinely excited before beginning each new design. Although he seeks inspiration in a variety of sources, his biggest influences include his artist mother, his wife, and the woman who will wear each piece of jewelry he creates.
With a little care, your fine jewelry will keep its good looks forever. The best way to clean your jewelry is by soaking it in a bowl of warm water with a few drops of ordinary dish detergent. If needed, use a soft brush where dust and soap can collect. Then just rinse and pat dry with a soft cloth.
You won't have to clean your jewelry as often if you put it on after applying hairspray, perfume, and cosmetics. Be sure to remove your jewelry before strenuous activities like sports. Keep jewelry away from chlorine and other household chemicals. Always make sure it is dry and clean by wiping with a cloth before putting it away.
To protect the beauty of your jewelry, don't keep it in a tangle in a jewelry box. Remember, gems can scratch metal or each other. When you travel, make sure your jewelry pieces don't rub against each other in your bag. Store each piece separately or wrap each one in tissue paper or a soft cloth.
